Requirements:

Upgrading an existing Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 with the software listed above to Windows 10 will require you to do the following:

  1. Uninstall OpenLDV (including 5.0), unplug any U10/U20, Install OpenLDV 5.0, plug any U10/U20 back into the PC.
  2. Reactivate CT and IzoT Net Server licenses. First do a license recovery on the license and then activate the license. See KB972 for CT and KB973 for IzoT Net Server for details.

OpenLDV 5.0 is the latest Network Interface driver and is required for Windows 10 or any 64-bit Windows OS. You can install OpenLDV 5.0 before or after you install all the other Echelon software. Make sure the PCC-10/PCLTA/U10/U20 network interfaces are unplugged when you install OpenLDV.

To use some of the older software versions requires you to use a simple workaround.

Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 (64-bit): Workarounds.
    1.   SmartServer EES - choose one
          a. Install EES 2.2 SP3 or later.
          b. For older EES 2.0 or EES 2.2 PCs, See KB856
             – needs to be in c:/lonworks directory,
             – requires CorFlags workaround
    2.    MiniFX – requires CorFlags workaround.

LonScanner is designed to be installed after other LonWorks software is installed.

If you are using LonScanner in standalone mode (that is, you will only be running LonScanner and no other LonWorks software) then you need to install OpenLDV 5+ network driver and then install LonScanner.

LNS DDE Server will not install and run properly on Windows 10 unless you do one of the following.
