I get "This activation key or account is not valid. Please enter a valid activation key and account." error when I try to install IzoT CT or IzoT Net Server (or OpenLNS CT or OpenLNS Server).
This is error can be due to a number of problems:
1. The Login account (username/password) is not correct. You need to use the Echelon Software Downloads login account and not the Store download account.
Workaround: Choose one
a. If you are using a trial license then don't fill in the username/password at all (leave username/password blank).
b. Create a Software download account and reinstall the software with this account login username/password. This is Recommended as you can more easily upgrade the software and transfer the license to another PC.
c. Don't tie your license to the Software download account (leave username/password blank).
